DT-202C is a digital theodolite which practical to use on the field. It has long duration of use, about 40 to 80 hours, and has high accuracy of measuring, about 2" .

- Continous operating time of 4 AA Alkaline batteries is about 80 hours.
- Absolute horizontal angle measurent, when this function is active, if the power off, turn on the instrument again and aim the same target, the horizontal angle displays the same reading.
- Large LCD display.
