FURAN RESIN
COLD SET (FOUNDRY REISN)
It is a cold curing furan resin by hardener acid (Para Toluene Sulphonic acid) with pure sand for making cores and moulds for gray cast iron and ductile iron, cast steel iron and non -ferrous light heavy metals
Properties:-
1-appearance : clear yellow - brown liquid
2.Solid content : 85+ 2 %
3.furfural alc : ( 80± 1)%
4.storage life: 6 months at least
5.N2 Content : Zero ( as require )
6.Free Formaldehyde: 0.5% max
Uses:-
Mix 100 PBW of clean and dry silica sand with 0.5 PBW hardener (P.T.S.A) for 2 minutes and added (one) PBW furan resin and mix for 3 minutes.
Put the mix in the clean mould and released after 30 min.
