Cellusorb
For the removal of oils and fuels from water. 100% biodegradable, recycled cellulose sorbent. Absorbs up to 19 times its own weight in oil due to both absorption and adsorption properties. Wholly Australian made.

Enretech Cellusorb is a 100% cellulose oil and fuel absorbent for use on water. It is completely biodegradable and is produced from recycled waste cellulose materials.

Cellusorb is highly oleophilic
( " oil loving " ) and will readily attach itself to all forms of hydrocarbons. It will absorb up to 19 times its
own weight in oil based products  even when wet.

• Rapid absorption on water  Cellusorb’ s rapid wicking action makes the product ideally suited for
use in sensitive eco systems. It is environmentally inert posing no dangers to flora, fauna or aquatic life.

• Super absorbent  only small amounts of Cellusorb are required so it' s highly cost effective. The high buoyancy facilitates containment and retrieval. It is easy, safe to use and lightweight.

• Produced from recycled raw materials  Cellusorb is 100% cellulose, biodegradable and non abrasive.

• Cellusorb is incinerable generating 15, 500 BTUs/ kg with less than 5% ash.

The protocol for the application of Cellusorb recommends that sufficient amounts of the product be applied to the surface of the spill to completely cover the spill.

The spill will be quickly wicked up off the water and the spent Cellusorb can be retrieved by skimming or the use of nets. Cellusorb, that has been used to absorb C10 C36 petroleum hydrocarbons, has been granted EPA approval for disposal to solid waste landfill ( regular garbage) in most States.

However, always consult your local waste authority to ensure the proper disposal of used Cellusorb materials.
