ACR128u adalah alat pembaca kartu ( smartcard reader) yang memiliki kemampuan untuk membaca dan menulis pada beberapa jenis kartu smartcard contact dan contactless seperti ISO14443A dan ISO7816. ALat pembaca ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur SAM SLOT, yakni modul keamanan data dengan enskripsi tinggi. ACR128u berkomunikasi menggunakan kabel serial atau USB 2.0
