Falk Gear Drives The Falk name on the gear drive is the purchaser’ s
assurance that the drive was engineered, rated and manufactured to sound
design practices.
The power supplied to the geared drive must be equal to or less than the power for
which the drive was selected using the appropriate mechanical service factor for the
application. The customer must assume the responsibility of isolating the gear drive
from any vibratory or transient load induced by the driven equipment.
Install and operate Falk products in conformance with applicable local and
national safety codes and per Falk installation manuals, which are shipped with
gear drives and are also available upon request. Suitable guards for rotating
members may be purchased from Falk as optional accessories.
