1 - This electronic distance activator/deactivator (DAD) is one of the finest EM EAS products in the world. It has unbeatable high performance/price ratio.

2 The DAD unit has the highest height of deactivation (6 ~ 10mm depending on lengths and types of labels) and activation (2 ~ 3mm).

3 The deactivation is triggered by IR sensors on both wings of the unit when articles pass through the surface of the unit and shutoff the IR beam. This function efficiently
protects the unit from overheating problem in most of cases.

4 Besides the IR sensors, this unit also has a fan inside which is controlled by temperature sensor. This fan start to work for forced ventilation when temperature inside the unit is higher than 45. The high temperature over 45 could be caused by deactivating labels continuously in a very busy operation or in a warm environment.

5 Thousands of DRD units have been in using in libraries, bookstores and other retail shops for years. They have been working quite stably and effectively.

6 The usage of the unit is very simple and clear by pressing button and looking at LED indicators of different functions.

7 The DRD unit can be put directly on table or embedded into table.

8 The DRD can be used for activating and deactivating Acousto-Magnetic (AM) labels as well. But it is not professional. The effective deactivation height is about 3mm.
